You Can Help Preserve Archaeology in Nevada!

Friends of Gold Butte invited NVFCP to speak about how folks can preserve archaeology in Nevada. You can register for the talk on their meetup page or here on our webpage.

Presenter: Rayette Martin NVFCP Executive Director, and Public Archaeologist

If you visit archaeological sites like mines, ghost towns, petroglyphs, and rock shelters, you can help protect them as a citizen steward or an OHV Preservation Ambassador. This presentation will cover the types of cultural sites found in Nevada, the laws that protect them, how you can participate in preservation efforts, and the results of volunteer efforts.
