In an effort to help preserve and protect Nevada's cultural resources I will:
- Enjoy both historic and precontact cultural sites by taking pictures and leaving artifacts where they were found.
- Stay on designated trails and routes to prevent damage to sensitive cultural areas.
- Visit petroglyphs and pictographs (rock art or rock writings) carefully.
- Practice extreme caution when visiting mines and historic buildings. When in doubt, I will stay out!
- Report any damages found to cultural sites in Nevada online here or by calling 702-486-5011.
- Practice Leave No Trace principles and remove modern trash.
- Share the importance of preserving Nevada's heritage with others.
