Volunteers Needed at Mt. Irish and White River Narrows!
We’re looking for volunteers to help with several hands-on projects, including installing six small interpretive signs along the new hiking trail at Mt. Irish, cleaning the area around a historic cabin, and removing spray paint from boulders in White River Narrows. Join us for one day or stay for the whole weekend—every bit of help makes a difference! Plus, there will be time to explore these dense well known petroglyph areas in breathtaking scenery.
More details will be shared with those who RSVP. The basics are below.
Camping & Lodging
Free camping is available at Mt. Irish. The small campground includes picnic tables, fire pits, and a vault toilet.
Not into camping? Affordable lodging is available in Alamo.
Food & Supplies
There are no restaurants nearby. The gas station in Alamo has a fried chicken joint, and Ash Springs offers a small kitchen serving burgers, breakfast sandwiches, and similar fare.
