Nevadans for Cultural Preservation

Experimental archaeologist Angelo Robledo will discuss his work to bring archaeology into school classrooms. Since 2018 Angelo has worked with public, charter, and private schools in Las Vegas to introduce archaeological concepts and projects as a supplement to existing social studies curriculum. This talk will overview his efforts and discuss best practices when talking to children about the human past!
