NVFCP was invited to provide a cultural resource preservation presentation at Gold Searchers of Southern Nevada's July meeting.
This organization hosts monthly meetings and outings at several claims they hold about 1-2 hours outside of Las Vegas. Their members can check out equipment like metal detectors and prospecting equipment.
They teach members to engage in responsible recreation. The club also participates in public service activities and educates the youth about the mining industry, minerals, and gold panning.
